Ebdaat was founded in 2008 in Damascus and relocated to Istanbul, where it became the first Arabic printing press in the city. The studio was created to solve a specific problem: Arab brands across the Gulf and the Levant needed Istanbul-grade production with people who could read their briefs, understand their typography, and treat Arabic calligraphy as a craft material — not a foreign script.

Production runs on FSC-certified stocks by default, with PEFC and recycled options on request.
